From Millicent to MIT

Jordan Agnew specializes in turning concepts into fully realized, functional products.

From a small-town high school to international engineering projects, Jordan Agnew’s career path is a testament to innovation, hard work, and a deep connection to his roots.

The former Millicent High School student began his journey in engineering as an apprentice fitter and turner at Kimberly-Clark Australia (KCA).

From there, driven by a passion for mechanics and design, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Australia.

Mr Agnew’s professional journey then saw him take up a job with defence contractor BAE Systems, where he transitioned from CNC machining into the design office.

It was here that he honed the skills that would eventually lead him to launch his own Adelaide – based business, supplying precision components—primarily to BAE Systems – for more than

eight years.

Eventually, Mr Agnew returned to Millicent and has since completed a wide range of high-level engineering projects, from manufacturing periscope components for submarine maintenance to developing

new sprinkler systems for the Wattle Range Council’s effluent ponds.

One of his most recent achievements includes the completion of a satellite reflector for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a project sourced through his connections with Uni SA.

With a strong background in mechanical design and manufacturing, Mr Agnew specialises in turning concepts into fully realised, functional products.

His services span from initial concept development and 3D modelling to prototyping and full- scale production, all delivered to meet rigorous industry standards.
