THE new generation of Australian Football League (AFL) players gathered at Frew Park last Friday for the last Gather Round Roadshow segment for Mount Gambier/Berrin.

More than 100 kids between the ages of five and 12 tested their skills in different kinds of exercises which were modelled after real training regiments performed by some of the AFL’s top players.

Exercises included goal kicking, handball accuracy training and a special tackling practice.

The event also hosted special guest and former AFLW player for Port Adelaide and Adelaide Erin Phillips who encouraged the kids to give it their all during the day.
