The Robe Institute will come alive when the Stringybark Quartet makes a stop as part of their South Australian regional tour.

Presented by Country Arts SA, the string quartet will bring an eclectically melded repertoire, performing well known songs like audiences have not heard before.

At each show the performance will transform, with songs changing from venue to venue, with each evenings repertoire selected by the local community presenter group.

Audiences can expect to hear a plethora of musical stylings, from Mozart to Katy Perry, Icelandic Hymns to Australian rock classics.

The Stringybark Quartet will take audiences on a musical adventure spanning across multiple genres, including classical, folk, pop and new music.

Lead by violinist, performer and composer Belinda Gehlert, the quartet is made up of renowned Australian string players, with violinist Emma Perkins, violist Linda Garret and cellist Gemma Phillips joining on stage to

weave together an evening of dynamic musicianship offering the intimacy that is unique to a quartet performance.

Join the Stringybark Quartet for an evening in venues that will amplify the feeling that the show will bring.

The Stringybark Quartet will perform at the Robe Institute on August 22, for more information visit countryarts.org.au/events/the-stringybark-quartet/
