The MacKillop Farm Management Group have just welcomed Katie Moorhouse as their new communications and events officer.
Ms Moorhouse replaces Sally Klose, who moved into the role of chief executive officer for MFMG in February.
Her most recent role was with DairySA as a communications coordinator, and has extensive experience in communication, marketing, public relations and stakeholder engagement.
In addition, Ms Moorhouse operates a prime lamb business near Bool Lagoon with husband Sandy.
Katie has proven experience in communicating agricultural extension to a range of stakeholders including farmers, service providers, industry bodies and sponsors.
“I’m excited to be joining MFMG with its well established member-base, and reputation as a professional, progressive and highly regarded organisation,” Mr Moorhouse said.
“I’m looking forward to working with MFMG’s CEO, its members, project managers, and other key industry stakeholders to deliver effective and engaging communication and events activities.”
