IN recognition of National Families Week, Mount Gambier/Berrin’s Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre hosted a free event for all to learn more about the services available for the community, as well as to provide time for families to mingle.
Taking place on May 15, the event included a variety of services which specialised in providing care and assistance in a number of different daily struggles.
Services present on the day provided information on what they could do to help certain situations such as mental health and seeking care, while others gave children some time to bond together with various activities.
