AN EXCITING and hands-on horse program will be on offer for young horse enthusiasts this school holidays.

The Australian Baroque Riding Academy’s program offers a perfect blend of fun, education, and adventure, promising unforgettable experiences for kids.

Young riders will work with friendly and well-trained ponies and will learn the essentials of horse care including grooming, feeding, and understanding horse behavior.

From beginners to advanced, our program caters to all skill levels, helping each child improve their knowledge in a supportive and safe environment.

Owner of Australian Baroque Riding Academy Marie Matter shared her enthusiasm about the program.

“We are excited to provide an opportunity for children to learn and have fun with horses in a safe, supportive environment,” she said.

“Our program is designed to give kids hands-on experience with horses, fostering a love empathy and animal care.”

Creative activities will allow kids to explore their artistic side while learning more about horses.

Engaging and interactive horse-related games and challenges will promote teamwork and build confidence.

In addition to the holiday program, the Australian Baroque Riding Academy also offers birthday party packages which include pony rides, horse care activities, and fun games, ensuring a memorable celebration for any horse-loving child.

“Our birthday party packages are a hit with kids and parents alike,” Ms Matter said.

“The combination of pony rides and fun games makes for an unforgettable celebration.”

The program is aimed at children aged 6-14 years of age and will be at Australian Baroque Riding Academy in Glenburnie.

Those interested have a choice between two dates, Tuesday, July 9 or the following Tuesday, July 16 and the program runs from 10:30 – 3:00pm.

Ms Matter said spaces for the program are filling up quickly and encouraged parents to register their children soon.

“We look forward to welcoming new young horse enthusiasts to our Academy this July.”
