Last Wednesday the Moss and Wild Monthly Medal was contested by women at the Penola Golf Club.
The competition was a stroke round and players needed to count their putts as well.
Penny Young claimed a narrow win in A Grade with an impressive nett score of 74.
She was closely followed by Kathleen Collins, who was runner-up, just one stroke behind with a nett score of 75.
It was a strong round from Young as she also claimed the putting trophy with a very impressive 25 putts for the day.
Sue Kilsby won the nearest to pin with an excellent drive on the 13th hole.
Barbara Provis was the winner in B Grade with a nett score of 72.
Provis claimed the win by the barest of margins as she defeated runner-up Pat Boyd on a count-back.
The winners walked away with prizes from Moss and Wild.
On Saturday’s nine at nine competition, Katie Lewis claimed the honours with the best score of the day.
