Perfect weather greeted 44 players at the Millicent Bowls Club for a 2-4-2 competition last week.
The tournament committee introduced for the second time this year a power play for one end which had to be nominated before the end started and only applied to that team, which doubled their score for that end if they won it.
The winning team for this week went to Steve Carnellor and Malcolm Wright with a great good of 36+28, only losing 4 of the 20 ends.
Runners-up were Bob Baxter and John Buhlmann with a score of 35+25.

Players are reminded the Championship Ladies and Men’s Triples are to be played on October 9 starting at 8-30am.
