THE 2024 Bowls SA Prestige Medley was held last weekend between the 12 regions across the state.

Each region fielded nine players for the two-day event, which included Pairs, Triples and Fours.

The women were at Playford Bowling Club and the Men at Modbury, with both greens undercover.

The women had a successful weekend, only going down by one shot to the eventual winner Metro West during the course of the rounds.

Women – Pool 1: Metro West – Region 12 43 points +20; Metro North – Region 9 34 +32; Lower North – Region 8 33 -11; South Eastern – Region 1 32 +47; Eyre Peninsula – Region 5 28 -25; Upper North – Region 3 10 -63.

Pool 2: Metro South – Region 11 52 +48; North Eastern – Region 4 36 +43; Yorke Peninsula – Region 2 30 -30; Eastern – Region 6 26 -34; Metro East – Region 10 18 -5; Fleurieu & KI – Region 7 18 -22.

The play-off between Metro West and Metro South was won by West 38 shots 8 points to 34 shots 4 points.

The play off between Metro West and Metro East was won by West 47 shots 10 ptoins to 44 shots 2 points.
