The final of the Women’s District Pennant competition was held at the Naracoorte Golf Club on Monday, April 29.
Sixteen teams entered the competition which began in March, competing in three divisions.
In the A Grade division the finalists were Bordertown and Lucindale, this was a close match with Bordertown winning three matches to two.
Division 1 was also a close match between Keith and Blue Lake with Keith taking out the win 3 matches to 2.
The trend continued in Division 2 between Millicent and Bordertown with Millicent taking the win 3 matches to 2.
A Grade winners were the Bordertown team of Alix Richards, Sharon Leigh, Sandi Densley, Anna Dawes, Janet Nottle and Bink Barras.
Division 1 winners were Mandy Stewart, Wendy Absalom, Barb Cameron, Sandy Yates and Trudy Hodges.
Division 2 winners were Bronwyn Clarke, Val Williams, Bec Shanks, Annie MacLennan and Karen Lock.
