Millicent Rotary Club engaged the services of four local mechanics last week to host their annual headlight check.

During the drizzly two hour period last Wednesday night over 40 cars had their headlights tested to ensure they were straight, working and aligned.

Around 10 Rotary volunteers were on hand to check all other vehicle lights were working and cook a barbecue for the helpers.

Once again Millicent Farm Supplies supplied the sheltered location for the checks to be conducted.

Simon Jolley and Steve Blowes from Millicent Toyota and John Gysbers and JR Marshal were the four mechanics who volunteered their time to conduct the safety checks.
