Fire truck stolen

SOUTH Australia Police are investigating the theft of a decommissioned fire truck from a Compass business in April.

Just before 9am on Sunday April 28, a Mitsubishi fire truck was stolen from a business site on Marte Siding Road Mount Gambier/Berrin.

The stolen truck is a red 2000 Mitsubishi decommissioned fire truck with SA registration XS42AV and is fitted with aluminium sliding compartments, roof trays and a red fire hose fitted to the rear.

There are distinctive decals of “Queensland Fire and Rescue” on the truck.

The fire truck has not yet been located.
