RENDELSHAM Rams claimed was was a comfortable victory over Naracoorte Warriors in Round 13 of Millicent and Naracoorte cricket on Saturday.

Chasing 161 for victory, the Rams did it in style, with a six to win in the 31st over.

Naracoorte won the toss and elected to bat, which appeared to be a good decision.

The opening partnership between Jason McClure and Loren Bald was broken with 30 runs on the board, as the former was sent on his way for 17, bowled by Jake Wight.

However, Loren Bald remained at the crease and the runs flowed from his bat, while the incoming Nicolas Bald was bowled by Jacob Carger for 11.

Loren Bald was eventually bowled by Dylan Clough, but not before he contributed a half-century, with his 71 runs coming from 78 deliveries.

Remi Brown and Brad Redding kept the scoreboard ticking over, with the pair taking the score to 151 before Brown was caught off Carger for 27.

Brad Redding (13) and Lochlan Dolphim (3) remained unbeaten when the 40 overs were up, with the 160 total a tough task to reach.

However, the Rams were up to the task, despite losing Ayden Reid for 10 runs with just 21 on the board.

Carger remained resolute and was joined by Clough, with a half-century partnership following.

Clough fell to Lucas Bald for 36, with the Rams then sitting at 2/79.

Carger was next to go, another victim of Lucas Bald for 37 runs, then the remaining runs came from the bats of Wight and Tye McManus.

Wight was in fine touch, reaching his half-century of 54 runs off just 42 balls.

In the 31st over the game done and the Rams were victorious.
