Once again we look forward to attending the Country Championships in June and will take one senior and three junior teams to Adelaide for the weekend.

I encourage both senior and junior players to register for trials and give representing the association a go.

The relationships formed at Country Championships will continue with you long into the future.

The Mid South East Netball Association AGM was held last November and I am pleased to announce our Executive remains unchanged from 2023.

We are fortunate in our association to have a group of dedicated and passionate umpires led by Bec Scanlon.

There has been a number of Rule Changes introduced and if anyone has any questions please contact Bec.

Cassie Dinnison and myself are working hard on sponsorship and would like to thank the sponsors who have joined us already in 2024.

If you are interested in being part of our sponsorship group and have not heard from us, please contact either Cassie or myself.

We have undertaken a lot of work both within our region to open the lines of communication across our neighbouring associations and this is something we hope to continue long into the future.

Our relationship with Netball SA continues to improve, which ultimately will be of benefit to clubs, players and the association.

As we dive into this season, let us remember the values that define our sport: sportsmanship, respect, and camaraderie.

Let us compete fiercely but fairly, always honoring the spirit of the game and respecting our opponents.

Together, let us make this season one to remember.

Let us create memories, forge friendships and celebrate the joy of netball.

Good luck to all teams, and let us make this season our best one yet.

Sara Gray

President
